This ministry was founded in 2024 , and is already expanding rapidly!
Hope for Eternity Ministry (HEM Africa) was founded by Bonaventure Dusabumuremyi (known as Pastor Bony) in 2013 in Uganda in East Africa. HEM Africa provides outreach and Christian education serves in Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, and in Mozambique. HEM Africa continues to operate with a newly appointed Executive Director and an appointed board of directors. It is registered in Uganda as as an non-governmental organization (NGO).
In 2023 Pastor Bony moved to Canada, and in 2024 founded Hope for Eternity Ministry Canada (HEMCanada). While HEMCanada, is a new church, we bring the same love for Jesus and the same desire to spread the gospel as we were doing in Africa. While we intend to do many new things, we will continue our main focus which is bringing hope to the most vulnerable, and light to those who do not yet have a relationship with Jesus.
